Managed Care Contract List

Emory Genetics Laboratory has a Managed Care Contract List for individuals who reside within the state of Georgia.

Requests for Testing not performed by Emory Genetics Laboratory

Specimens received at Emory Genetics Laboratory will only be forwarded to referral laboratories if we are also processing part of the sample (e.g., tissue culture). Forms required by the referral laboratory, which may include the test requisition, consent form, billing form, etc., must be completed and sent with the sample to Emory Genetics Laboratory by the referring provider.

Payment arrangements must be made directly with the referral laboratory according to their policies, prior to sending the sample to Emory Genetics Laboratory. We request that a copy of the billing arrangements accompany the sample. Emory Genetics Laboratory cannot be billed for the testing. In addition, shipping and handling costs will be included with the invoice for services. Please contact our our billing office to discuss billing for shipping and handling in advance.
