Mitochondrial Disorders Program

The Mitochondrial Disorders Program serves children and adults with known or suspected disorders of energy metabolism (mitochondrial diseases). Our team consists of a physician, a counselor and a supporting staff. In addition to evaluating and managing both children and adults with known or suspected mitochondrial disease, our team is involved in clinical research and fundraising to support awareness, improve care and find answers to the many unknown questions surrounding mitochondrial disease.

If you have questions about our mitochondrial clinic, or if you would like to make an appointment for an evaluation by our mitochondrial specialist, please call 404-778-8570.
