Volunteer Opportunities
The Department of Human Genetics offers a volunteer internship to individuals interested in a career medical genetics. Volunteers will have the opportunity to interact with a variety of laboratory and clinical genetic professionals and support a variety of administrative duties. Applicants must be a high school graduate and available to volunteer 10 hours per week for at least 10 weeks.

At this time, we are not accepting internship applications for volunteers interested in genetic counseling or clinical genetics.

Applications are reviewed once per quarter and internships, when available, are awarded according to the following schedule:

July - September June 1
October - December September 1
