Research Interests

I am working with Dr. William Wilcox in the department. The main interest of our research is to understand the pathogenic mechanisms of genetic disorders, particularly skeletal dysplasias and limb deficiencies, and to develop a new treatment for the most common form of dwarfism. We are also interested in understanding the cause of multiple myeloma in patients with Gaucher disease. We use human samples, cell and animal model systems to address these questions with a variety of molecular, cell biological, and genetic technologies.
