Research Interests

My research focuses on quantitative genomics studies for understanding the biological mechanisms of complex traits and diseases, including integrating functional information in genome-wide association studies (GWAS), transcriptome-wide association studies (TWAS), integrative multi-omics analysis, and genetic pathway analysis. Specifically, I am working on deriving scalable Bayesian methods for functional GWAS/TWAS, implementing machine learning methods for the risk prediction of complex diseases, sequence data analyses, and developing useful tools.
